The Robertsdale High School Band will be attending the Gator Bowl this year in Jacksonville, FL.  We will leave Dec. 30th and arrive home on Jan. 3rd.  At the Gator Bowl, the band will be competing in a Marching Contest that could possibly win us $10,000 grand prize.  If we win, we not only get the grand prize but will also win the honor of performing our half time show during the Gator Bowl pregame.     We really need everyone to attend this event to give us the best possible chance of winning this contest. The big event will be our band joining the other bands in attendance in a mass band performance during the half time show at the Gator Bowl football game.   I need to know by August 15th who will be attending the Gator Bowl.  If you attend, I will need a $25 nonrefundable deposit from each person attending this trip on August 15th.  The following information is based on at least 110 students attending and at least 50 adults attending.  The following cost also reflects the band boosters covering all transportation costs.  If we do not meet the minimal number of students/adults attending, and/or the band boosters do not cover the transportation expense, then the prices below will change.  Room Prices by number in room: Quad    $479.00 Triple   $517.00 Double $595.00 Single  $830.00 We will all receive 1 Game Ticket for the Gator Bowl and will attend a Dinner Dance.  Options that we can add to this trip are: Jacksonville Zoo (added price of $18-$21) Adventure Landing (added price of &17-$27) Museum of Science (added price of $11-$13) Ripley’s Believe it or Not (added price of $10) St. Augustine Oldest city in the United States (sightseeing for free).
