Dec. 4th - Silverhill Christmas Parade - 5:30 line up and roll call at Silverhill Elementary - parade starts at 6:00
Dec. 5th - Robertsdale Christmas Parade - 5:15 roll call in the band room - parade starts at 6:00 and the concert in Honey Bee Park will begin at the end of the parade.
Dec. 10th - Marching band practice from 3:30 until 5:00. band Christmas Party is at 6:00
Dec. 12th - (Now Dec 19th) - Loxley Christmas Parade - line up and roll call is 9:00 at theLoxley Church of God - parade is at 9:30 - We will load the buses at the end of the parade to go to Ladd Stadium to perform at the Alabama Mississippi All Star Football Game. Pregame is at 12:00 and the game will start at 12:30. We should return to Robertsdale around 5:00 *********This Pareade has been rescheduled to Dec.19th*********
Please remember, as it has always been band policy, as stated in the student band hand book and on this website. All performances are mandatory. There has been an unreasonable amount of request to miss both practices and performances. Sometimes you have to make decisions. If you can not make the commitment to the program you may need to reconsider your schedule.
Congratulations to the band for another Superior Marching Season
Contest Results:
A-Town Invitational at Andalusia High School = Straight superior ratings in every category and the band placed fourth overall out of 20. The Majorettes also won best in class.
Gold Medal Classic at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College = Straight Superior ratings in every Category and the band placed 6th out of 21 bands. The Majorettes also won best in class.
Deep South Marching Contest at Theodore High School = Straight superior ratings in every category. The Colorguard and Majorettes had the highest scores in Class AAAA and the Band Placed 1st and was the Best in Class Band for Class AAAA. Overall on the day, the band placed 2nd out of 17 bands.
The band has now earned superior ratings at 18 consecutive marching contest!
